Along the right bank of the Loire, the family of the Baron de
Ladoucette owns the largest property of Pouilly.
The House, originally from Névernais, has the largest
property of all the appellation and the cellars are located in the
Nozet castle in Pouilly-sur-Loire.
The Sauvignon grapes used are born on the left bank
of the Loire, in front of Pouilly.
The area of production of Sancerre wines includes i
villages of Amigny, Bue, Chavignol, Reigny and Verdigny.
The vinification takes place very slowly at low
temperature, to preserve the floral scents that
characterize this wine. Aging takes place in
steel for about two years and is marketed
after about two years of aging.
