This splendid Barolo is made from Nebbiolo grapes; the soils are of medium calcareous consistency tending to sandy. In the vineyard, the breeding system adopted is Guyot. The manual harvest is conducted in the second decade of October; the vinification involves a 15-day fermentation-maceration in oak vats, with daily pumping over and punching down. Afterwards the wine ages for about 10 months in 3-5 HL drums and for about 20 months in oak barrels. After bottling, the wine rests in the cellar for at least 12 months before being marketed.
