This cuvée is the embodiment of the Louis Roederer style.
The Brut Premier cuvée is composed of 3 Champagne vines from more than 40 different crus. It is an assembly of 6 years of harvests, a part of which comes from the Louis Roederer reserve wine collection aged for several years in oak vats. The maturation takes place on average for 3 years in the cellars, to which is added a remedy of 6 months after the disgorgement, to perfect maturity. The assembly involves the use of 40% of Pinot Noir, 40% of Chardonnay, 20% of Pinot Meunier and 5% of wines vinified in wood (oak barrels) with a weekly bâtonnage, embellished with 10% of reserve wines aged in wood. The malolactic fermentation is partial and the final dosage is adapted to each thousandth, between 10 and 11 g / l.
