Details
The first Cristal Cuvee Rose was created in 1974 from old plots of Pinot Noir in Ay, classified Grand Cru.
This unique calcareous terroir of Ay creates an extraordinary maturity coupled with a crystalline acidity and minerality in the best years for the development of Cristal Roederer.
Cristal Rose is produced using the process of saignée (bleeding) with 55% of Pinot Noir and 45% of Chardonnay; 20% of the wines are aged in oak barrels.
This Cuvee is available after 6 years of aging in the minimum cellar.
A palate characterized by intense aromas with roundness, followed by notes of red fruit and white flowers.
A complex structure, elegant and full of freshness.
