This year the harvest was immediately particularly good thanks to the favorable seasonal trend. The spring months were characterized by a temperate climate, with scarce rainfall and without thermal stress: this favored a good phytosanitary condition of the grapes. At the end of May there was a sudden drop in temperatures that did not cause any damage, but led to a slight slowdown in the plant's phenology and a higher percentage of unfertilized flowers. This physiopathy gave birth to more scattered (ie radius) and therefore healthier bunches. In July the temperatures were high, while August was cool, with moderate rainfall: a varied thermal regime that guaranteed all the varieties of aromatic characteristics very interesting, rich in intensity and complex. The maturation between the different parts of the berry (pulp, peel and grape seeds) took place with uniformity and balance, guaranteeing wines with a long-lasting perspective.
