Frescobaldi, Luce, Luce della Vite 2020 OWC 750 ml x6

The first wine ever produced in Montalcino by combining the Sangiovese and Merlot grapes. To associate the roundness and softness of Merlot with the structure and elegance of Sangiovese could seem like an obvious thing, but never before had it been completed. Only thanks to the collaboration of the Marchesi de 'Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi families, this innovative work has been realized in the land of Brunello di Montalcino, a world famous wine obtained exclusively from Sangiovese grapes. Since 2002 the responsibility has passed entirely into the hands of Lamberto Frescobaldi who in the land of Brunello di Montalcino continues to write the history of Luce, combining the tradition of Sangiovese, a typical grape variety of the territory, the innovation of Merlot introduced in Montalcino in 1976.
