Details
Barbaresco "Valeirano" is composed entirely of Nebbiolo grapes hand-harvested in small boxes. The age of the vines is quite high, presenting an average ranging from 46 to 52 years. Following the alcoholic fermentation, which takes place in steel tanks, the wine is transferred to barriques in which the malolactic fermentation starts. Aging takes place in medium-toasted French oak barriques for 22 months, then bottled and finished refining waiting for patient in bottle for another 12 months. No filtration or clarification is performed.
