Starderi, in addition to being the name of the vineyard of origin, is one of the Barbaresco signed by La Spinetta, Piedmontese winery located near the town of Castagnole delle Lanze.
The vineyard of origin is populated by vines with ages between 51 and 57 years. It extends on a mainly calcareous soil, for a surface of 6.5 hectares at 270 meters of altitude. Following the manual harvest, the grapes carry out the alcoholic fermentation phase inside steel tanks. Within barriques, the malolactic fermentation takes place and the subsequent refinement of 22 months. At the end, stop for 3 months in steel and 12 in bottle, without having been previously filtered. Three years after the harvest, it enters the market.
