A very good year that of 2015. After a mild winter, with temperatures below the seasonal average in the months of January and February and heavy rains, the vegetative start began in the second week of April with the arrival of mild temperatures and days of Sun. The rains, which continued to affect the first part of the spring, favored a more rapid vegetation of the plants and made the water reserve of the soils equally suitable. Excellent flowering, which ended at the end of May, and subsequent excellent fruit set, favored by a really favorable climate. June and the first half of July were characterized by temperatures above the seasonal average but, since the end of July, they have lowered back to normal. This also thanks to some precipitations that brought fresh air for the benefit of the vineyards and the excellent production of grapes. The good temperature range between night and day, which occurred throughout the month of August, guaranteed a perfect phenolic ripeness of the grapes.
